21 Mar Carol Griffith
Carol knew she was an artist at the age of three. Her father used to draw with her and soon enrolled her in the Dayton Art Institute.
One of her proudest moments was when her artwork was critiqued by Lori Waxman, Art Critic for the Chicago Tribune at Herron School of Art in May 2019 and also by Lori Waxman. This was an amazing experience. Another proud moment was being accepted into the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors two years in a row! The first year her accepted piece was used as the cover of the Exhibition’s Catalog. A great honor. As for a “dream project”, she is not sure. She has had an amazing career as an artist. Twenty five years as a sculptor and another twenty five years as a Watercolorist and Photographer. You can’t ask for much more than that!
Carol has been in the planning stages of Nickel Plate Arts for many years ago. It is great having this wonderful venue for exhibiting her artwork. She has displayed experimental works, which she may not have done elsewhere.
