The 8th Annual Welcome to Fairyville event alights on the Nickel Plate Arts campus April 22–25, with most events free. Adults get in on the merriment during Fairy Friday (April 24) with a reception complete with live entertainment, storytelling fairies, fairy house awards, and more shenanigans. Kids and adults can submit a fairy house (applications due April 17) to be featured in our Fairy Home Show and then view & vote for these miniature abodes along the outdoor Fairyville Trail (during Fairy Friday and Sprite Saturday). Reserve your toadstools in our popular Fairy Tea Party series, create fancy fairy crafts, and much, much more! The fairies are back and they’re smaller than ever. Fairyville’s population is BOOMING and there’s a fairy housing shortage! Help homeless fairies by becoming a fairy architect and building the best house possible.
All you have to do is fill out the form below and submit your $25 registration fee – then you can get building!
Everyone who takes our Fairy Home Tour April 22-25 will get the chance to vote on their favorite fairy home. Winners will receive great prizes, including craft supplies, gift certificates and even cash! Download the PDF registration form or fill out the form below. Applications are due by April 17 and houses must be delivered to Nickel Plate Arts on Monday, April 20. Houses must be picked up after the contest on April 25, or between Noon and 5:00 p.m. on April 27 through May 1.
RULES: Houses must be:
-Bigger than a shoe box
-Small enough to be easily transported on a 2’x3’ rolling cart. Artists may install their own work, but MUST request special accommodations from Nickel Plate Arts
-Made from at least 75% natural materials
-Made from materials that can be lost, damaged, rained on or redecorated by tiny fairies. The houses will be outside unattended for at least 48 hours.
-Easy for one person to lift and move (approx. 25 pounds or less)
-Whimsical, funny, creative, and/or beautiful!
Downtown Noblesville Businesses: Get your business on the map (literally) by creating a Fairy Door. The cost is $25 to participate by creating a Fairy Door or $50 for a Fairy Door and a Fairy Door kit. Download the registration form.

Here are the electronic versions of our Fairy Home Tour Map! This year, Noblesville Merchants are welcoming our fairy friends by placing fair doors on some of their businesses. Keep an eye out for these mini-entrances so that you’ll know where fairies like to shop!
Fairy Doors are on display Wednesday—Saturday. The Fairy Home Tour will be on display at Nickel Plate Arts Wednesday—Friday at 5:00 p.m. and along the trail displayed on the map from Friday at 5:00 p.m. through Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
You can pick up a map at our main headquarters at 107 S. 8th and don’t forget to vote for your favorite! Winners will be selected by 8:30 p.m. on Fairy Friday.
