Krista became aware of her passion for art at the age of 5. Her first teacher taught her to draw and she spent countless hours sketching. It was her mother, Yukiko, who first saw her sketching and recognized the potential in Krista. Her second teacher instructed her in the art of painting and a passion was born.
Says Krista, “My artistic style is bold colors, vibrant strokes and unique compositions. I always put love and spirits into my paintings. I am almost finishing up artworks for Fishers FOCUS 2020, will be exhibited at Conner Prairie and Fishers City Hall.”
Krista would like to show her arts at many places, like Noble Coffee. She also wants to sell my postcards and magnet arts that she makes. Rachel, a former Nickel Plate staff, introduced Krista to “Equine Arts Guild” and joined their exhibitions. She started participating in Nickel Plate exhibit monthly.
