2023 Details

Hatch Fest (the event formerly known as Maker Faire) will be held on Saturday, June 17, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with Juneteenth Celebration and St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival

HATCH stands for Hamilton County Arts, Technology, Craft, and Heritage, and this  festival is a multi-faceted celebration of all that makes Hamilton County such a wonderful place! Artisans, Makers and Craftspeople from Noblesville and surrounding areas will have amazing one-of-a-kind creations to sell and area nonprofits and businesses will be on display around the Courthouse Square with activities, demonstrations, performances and more. This event combines the St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival, SERVE Noblesville’s F.U.N. fest, and a gathering of makers and artists from Nickel Plate Arts, and Juneteenth festivities. Support local emerging entrepreneurs, do some Father’s Day shopping, celebrate Juneteenth, and grab some strawberry shortcake! We can’t wait to see you this June.

Overview

Nickel Plate Arts’ Hatch Fest will showcase the works of our talented local artisans and makers on the downtown Noblesville Courthouse Square. Thanks to the Hamilton County Community Foundation, this year all Kid Entrepreneurs–makers ages 17 and under–will have their booth fee waived! This event will happen in conjunction with St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival, a beloved (and delicious!) annual event! Come snack on a delicious strawberry shortcake while perusing a variety of handmade goods, including wood items, handmade books, pottery, bath and body items, craft art, jewelry, home decor, and more. Plus this year we will partner with FUN Fest with SERVE Noblesville. Don’t miss this family-friendly event!

  • This laid-back event is intended for first-time art fair participant, though all skill levels are welcome.
  • Priority will be given to handmade makers, artisans, craftspeople, and first time art fair participants.
  • The $30 non-refundable booth fee is REQUIRED, to confirm a booth space.  You will not be assigned a space at the fair until your fee is paid.
  • All vendors are responsible for their own booth furnishings, including any tents, tables, chairs, displays, and electrical cords. This is a rain/shine event so plan accordingly.
  • Nickel Plate Arts will assist vendors in connecting to electricity as it is available.

We will review all vendor applications to ensure that they meet our vision for recognizing the maker community in the Nickel Plate Arts region. Because we have limited space, several criteria will be reviewed in consideration of each vendor. Please email Les at LReinhardt@nickelplatearts.org with any questions.
