The IAC has partnered with the Indiana Department of Education to provide general elementary teacher trainings in integrated arts into instruction. This followed a study by the IAC showing the benefits of in-house arts education. The full day trainings occur Wednesday, July 13th in Muncie and Friday, July 15 in Jasper. The trainings are free to all Indiana classroom teachers but registration is required. To Apply

Rooting Your Dream Workshop: May 7, 12 p.m.- 1:30 p.m.
Inspired by the book The Awakened Woman we are going to plant our dreams so they can take root. This $10 activity includes materials and instructions for this African practice developed by Dr. Tererai Trent in her book. Workshop is led by Dr. Leah Leach. Registration required.
LGTBQ+ Ally Meetup: May 7, 2 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Join us for the first LGBTQ+ Ally meetup hosted by the Gal’s Guide Library. Our intention for this meetup is for the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to have an open space for dialogue, and support. A place that protects, inspires, and empowers the young and all.

Homeschool Art for Ages 6-12 – Every Wednesday: Students will learn about a famous artist each week and create works based on the technique and styles of each artist.
Teen Art – Every Wednesday, 5:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.: Teens will focus on a session of drawing followed by a lesson together, then will be given time at the end of class to work on a project of their choosing.
Adult Open Studio – Most Wednesdays, 7 – 8 p.m. – $15 or class pack available – All supplies provided. Choose your medium and subject.

Regular price: $40 per day; $150 per week – Additional child: $135 per week
Clayworks Camp runs Monday- Friday 1p-3p. You can find the listing for Clayworks here! Join us for a whole week and complete 6-10 projects, or just sign up for a few days! Every camp, the campers will work with clay, resin, ceramics, wood signs and canvas! If you are signing up for the whole week, select “One Week” Pricing and click on the Monday for that week.

Join us for a whole week and complete 6-10 projects, or just sign up for a few days! Each week we will cast, handbuild and wheel throw clay art! Plan to come back to paint your pieces the next week.This camp is for campers 8-17.
HCAA is a 501 C 3 organization and welcomes input and participation from the public at its monthly meetings. Guests are always welcome to watch and learn from a Guest Artist demonstration and hear about the exciting plans of the organization.

Come enjoy the First Friday event as art, light refreshments, and demonstrations will be provided.

Creative Tapestry Wall Hanging: May 19, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., $65 plus optional supplies- Learn the basics of weaving on a simple frame loom in this class for beginners.
Table (Card) Weaving for Beginners: May 7, 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m, $85 plus optional supplies In this class you will learn to use an inkle loom and tablets to weave simple designs.
Spinning Thick and Thin Yarns: May 12, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., $65- Have you gotten comfortable with your spinning but want to be able to shake things up a bit? Or are you stuck with one diameter of single and want to be able to spin a thicker single? Or do you want to dip your toes gently into the world of art yarns?? This is the class for you!
Beginning Weaving 2- Intensive Edition: May 19-21, $210 plus purchase- This class is designed as a second step for beginning weavers on 4 or 8 shaft looms.
The Belfry Theatre’ Apprentice Player Summer Youth Production, Auditions for Frozen Jr. Musical:
Hamilton County Theatre Guild’s Belfry Theatre will conduct open auditions for The Belfry Apprentice Players summer youth production, Disney’s Frozen Jr. musical, for ages 5-18. Auditions will require a vocal selection and a monologue with more details and audition packet to come.
AUDITIONS: Monday, May 23rd, 3 – 5 p.m. & Sunday May 22nd & 6 – 8 p.m.
Performances will be July 28-31, 2022, at The Ivy Tech Auditorium, 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville.
Rehearsals: May 10, 17, 24, & 31 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.- Ivy Tech Lawrence, 9301 E. 59th, Lawrence- Free Event: Come sing a Capella with women who love 4 part harmony.
Bird Walks with Jeff Canada, Hosted by Noblesville Parks and Recreation: May 4th & 18th – 8 a.m.-10 a.m. – $5 per participant – Hague Road Nature Haven- Bird Walks are back! Join us for our Bird Walks right here in Noblesville – no experience needed! – Individuals and families are welcome and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own equipment (binoculars) and dress for the weather. Bird Walks guided by Mr. Jeff Canada who is an experienced birder (former President and Board Member of the Audubon Society) and a local small business owner.
