Zine Scene – A 2-hour workshop to explore the Zine as art
This online (and eventually in studio) program will introduce the Nickel Plate Arts audience to the wonderful world of the “Zine”, a small, self-published vehicle for expressing ideas through art and words. Self-expression, originality, and creativity are the hallmarks of this program, and participants will be encouraged to let their imaginations guide them on this exciting creative journey. There will be no “right or wrong answer”, as participants may combine imagery with poetry, prose, or whatever moves them in completing their one-of-a-kind creation.
13+ audience.
August 8, 2020: 10:00 a.m.–Noon, $25, online via Zoom
