Michelle (Shelley) Feeney’s main subject matter is nature. She tries to capture the raw beauty of natural objects and landscapes from different perspectives. She exaggerates the use of color and texture through the layering of paint. These bold patterns and lines created by the impasto of the paint create a visual movement that easily takes you in and out of her paintings.
