Location: Nickel Plate Arts Campus (107 S. 8th Street in Noblesville)

Have you ever wondered about the role spiders and other creepy crawlies play in nature? Join Darlene Patterson, nature enthusiast and Promise Road Elementary art teacher, for this educational art adventure! Participants will venture out into the community to "hunt" for spiders and other slightly scary but cool creatures. Families of students grades 1-5 are recommended, but older students are also welcome.

9:45am: Arrive at the Nickel Plate Arts campus to sign in and learn spider facts. Parents are highly encouraged to stay for the duration of the event.
10am: Depart campus at 10am to hike around downtown (cemeteries, empty lots, etc.), and to look for spiders. Photographs taken will be uploaded to the Nickel Plate Arts Facebook page.
11am: Return to Nickel Plate Arts campus to discuss findings. Students will also complete a spider related activity. Materials needed: - a camera/photography device of your choice - clothes fit for the weather

RAIN DATE: Sunday, October 31st
