Paint an original pastel painting while working from a still life or a photo of your choice. Instruction will include techniques with soft pastels, types of pastels, types of surfaces for various effects, caring and transporting your finished painting, and how to frame. Participants will frame their pastel painting to take home that day.
Note: All materials provided, including framing. If possible, participants should bring a blow dryer, scissors, and a reference photo if they do not plan to use the subject set up for class.
