Each month, Nickel Plate Arts hosts an exhibit showcasing the works of our talented local artists. The exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours, Wednesday - Friday from Noon - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The “nature versus nurture” issue is a classic in psychology. The debate asks whether human behavior is determined by the environment, by a person's genes, or a mixture of both. Do scientific or environmental factors have a greater influence on behavior? Do inherited traits or life experiences play a greater role in shaping your personality? Can science and art coexist? Should they? Nickel Plate Arts explores this classic conundrum across themes of science, nature, interaction, and humanity. Join us for our opening reception on Friday, April 3rd from 6:00–9:00 p.m. as we celebrate our artists with live music, refreshments, and drinks.
