Nickel Plate Arts is taking the month of January to celebrate Indiana Humanities’ two-year initiative called “INSeparable,” which invites Hoosiers to explore urban/rural dynamics and how we relate to each other across boundaries. Thanks to near-constant polling, media commentary, and academic analysis we regularly hear that America is culturally divided—and yet, we’re all in this together! How can we get past these real or perceived differences to consider what it will take to be inseparable, in all the ways that matter? Join us for our opening reception on Friday, January 3rd from 6:00–9:00 p.m. as we celebrate our members with live music, refreshments, and drinks. After the reception, “INSeparable” will be open to the public during our normal gallery hours: Wednesday–Friday from Noon–5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
