Michael Jack considers himself an explorer and lifelong learner. Others would agree, but would also add in ‘incredible photographer.’ After retiring in 2008 as a finance controller from a Fortune 500 company, he focused his passion on photography.
Michael enjoys capturing the ruggedness and beauty of landscapes across the country. When considering options for photography destinations, he scopes out beautiful landscapes that will capture the story that he wants the image to tell.
You can see Michael’s work in his upcoming art exhibit “My Favorite Places” in the Stephenson Showcase for the month of August. His photography will feature landscapes in the Smoky Mountains, coastal California, and more. Pieces will be available for purchase. Nickel Plate Arts regular business hours are Wednesday-Friday 12pm-5pm and Saturday 10am-5pm.
