This season, for the 38th annual Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie we celebrate the American classic: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! Explore our all-new 11-acre corn maze that features the infamous Headless Horseman hurling a jack-o-lantern! The maze features a long route and a shorter one, plus a new Haunted Trail that expands on the Legend of Amsel Farms. Back by popular demand are our barrel-train ride for the little ones, fun Halloween midway games, hilarious shows, and our Haunted Wagon ride where you'll come face-to-face with the Headless Horseman himself! Enjoy returning favorites like the Headless Horseman marionette show, the amazing magic show, spooky storytelling, live music, a science show, the fortune-telling powers of the Carl Voyant, and a live performance of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. When night falls, the grounds are transformed into Conner Scairie, where fun-loving ghouls will be back to delight and entertain you with their silly antics. It's an evening of October fun for the whole family that you can only find at Conner Prairie!
Hayride through the grounds with Horseman encounters and improved scenes. Guests must pre-book their line entrance times for the Hayride in advance online. Line entrance times start at 6:30 and are every 15 minutes until 10 pm. This time indicates when guests may enter the queue line for the hayride.
Midway games this year are Cauldron Toss, Pirate Ring Toss, Plinko, Zombie Soccer, Monster Mini-Golf, and the Hi-Striker. Bounce Houses return to the Midway, and a DJ will supply a background of great Halloween music and videos while guests play games. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow marionette show will return to Featherston Barn for 2021. On Thursday, Friday, and Sundays the fun and hilarious Magic Show and Legend of Sleepy Hollow one-man show will be on the Symphony Stage. On Saturday nights, the Symphony stage will feature an astounding Science Show with the Legend of Sleepy Hollow one-man show. There will be a scarecrow patch with local entries into a scarecrow design competition, and guests can weigh in on which scarecrow is their favorite. The long path of the corn maze will be open until sunset for safety, but the shorter maze path and the Haunted Trail will be open throughout the event until 10 pm.
