Friends at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Carmel will host its first Greek Eats event this year on Friday, Aug. 27 & Aug. 28, in lieu of Indy GreekFest. The change comes as an alternative offering, because of COVID-19 and the continuing risks surrounding the virus and its variants, as well as the community’s interest in hosting similar, smaller-scaled cultural events. GreekFest will be back in 2022.
Fans of the Indy GreekFest and Gyro Nights are invited to “Eat Greek” by pre-ordering their meal and dessert online and enjoying it under the big tent while listening to music and watching live dancing. Orders may also be taken to-go. See htcindyevents.org for more information and ordering.
