First Fridays at Nickel Plate Arts is a must-attend event each month so be sure to mark your calendars. The campus comes to life with new art exhibits, live music, refreshments, and a cash bar featuring local beer and wine.
In the Judge Stone House gallery, view the "Wrapped in Autumn" exhibit throughout the month of October. Fall brings beautiful leaves, crisp air, and crackling fires. It’s a time to snuggle under a colorful quilt or pull on that warm hand-knit sweater or scarf. Autumn is our time to recognize the incredible talent of our weavers, fabric designers, quilters, and other textile artists alongside visual art inspired by the shorter days, turning leaves, and warm earth tones of autumn. Then grab a drink or appetizer before strolling over to our Stephenson House gallery for a special showcase titled "Colors of the Environment: The Square Peg Can Fit the Round Hole" from Critt Hunter. The evening is enhanced by live music from Peter Kienle and Carolyn Dutton.
Don’t miss these once-a-month events, exploring arts in your community.
Can't make it? Nickel Plate Arts is open Wednesday-Friday, 12pm-5pm, and Saturdays 10am-5pm.
