As the direction of Medicaid and SSI becomes difficult to predict and benefits often prove inadequate, it has become critical for parents and caregivers to plan for the future of their child or dependent with Special Needs. This workshop covers legal issues, including wills, Special Needs Trusts and Guardianship. Also covered in the workshop is financial issues, such as Special Needs Trust Funding and Able Accounts. Additionally, Gordon goes over family issues, including Letter of Intent as well as family involvement in the process. Gordon shares his own journey of being a parent of a special needs child and how it change the trajectory of his career keeping him forever passionate about helping families.
