This class will take you from the very beginning steps of rigid heddle weaving to a finished item. You will learn the parts of the loom, how to calculate your warp and weft, how to put a warp on your loom, and then how to weave!
Bringing your own loom is recommended, but I have looms in the store that students can borrow if needed. The advantage of having your own loom is that you can take your project home to finish it if you don't complete it within class time. Everyone weaves at their own pace.
Material costs will vary depending on the yarns you choose to use.
The class will be limited to 3 students to enable social distancing, and everyone MUST wear a mask. If you do not wish to wear a mask, please do not register for the class. Your support on this is greatly appreciated!
