Camp is getting more colorful, engaging and creative in Hamilton County! Nickel Plate Arts presents Adventures in Art Camp, camps for children to learn about and develop skills in a variety of art mediums. Dabble, explore, and experiment during our one-week camp sessions offered during school breaks.

2020 Adventures in Art Summer Camp for Noblesville Residents
July 13-17 or July 20-24

Let your kids get their hands dirty and their heads thinking creatively over summer break! Nickel Plate Arts is partnering with the Noblesville Township Trustee Office to offer free week-long summer camps this July! Campers will get a hands-on exploration of various artistic media with projects changing daily. Dabble in 3D and 2D art-making processes including sculpture, painting, mixed-media, and more! Beat the heat with cool art projects that you create at home.

Each camp day offers a one-hour session tailored for different age groups. All materials and guided instruction provided. Because this camp is sponsored by the Noblesville Trustee’s Office, participants must attend Noblesville schools or have a Noblesville address. Registration required: Limit of 20 campers per session.

Choose between two camp dates: July 13-17 or July 20-24. 

Camp Schedule (projects change daily):
11-12 p.m. – Mini Artists (ages 4-6)
1-2 p.m. – Little Artists (ages 7-9)  
3-4 p.m. – Tween Artists (ages 10-12)

Location
Due to health concerns surrounding COVID-19 the camp will be held entirely online through Zoom. Links and supply kits will be made available soon!

Mural Camp Sponsored By Flexware Innovations

Here is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for teens to learn about public art and create their own murals! This summer camp will take place at the new Flexware Innovations Building in Fishers, where students will get to design and install their own murals! Participating students will work with award-winning muralist and HSE graduate Koda Witsken to design murals, pitch their designs to the building owners, and install the designs Flexware’s 10 restrooms.

The camp takes place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 15-31 from 9 am to noon.  The camp will meet at the Flexware Innovations building each day.  The final day of the camp, July 31st, may include a reception and/or tour for parents (depending upon social distancing restrictions).

Students should arrive prepared to learn, draw and paint and should wear clothing appropriate to painting and physical work. A complete schedule of camp activities will be provided on the first day of camp.

Social distancing will be observed throughout the camp and face masks will be required. Face masks will be provided to students who are unable to provide their own.
