HCAA is sponsoring monthly exhibits of selected member’s work to be on display at the Noblesville Visitors Center. Sherry Cartwright is the featured artist for the months of February and March. She is an advanced Master Gardener and belongs to the Hamilton County Master Gardeners’ Association. Cartwright’s backyard has been officially certified by the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) as a butterfly garden, and she leads butterfly counts in Indiana. Cartwright has attended NABA conferences across the United States, and last year at a Mission, Texas conference, she had the opportunity to see butterflies from Mexico as well. Some of her paintings are from photographs of butterflies she took in England, France, and Peru.
