Our popular holiday exhibit is BACK for its fifth year! “Gifted” is our annual holiday exhibit-turned-gift-market and your one-stop shop for the arts enthusiasts on your holiday shopping list. Shop early for holiday cards, ornaments, gifts, and more in our Judge Stone House in downtown Noblesville. This exhibit kicks off on Black Friday, November 23rd, and runs through Saturday, December 29th. Join us for a special Small Business Saturday event on November 24th from 10am – 5pm and be one of the first to choose from the wide selection of pottery, woodenware, jewelry, hand-knit items, home decor, holiday art, and more! A special opening reception for “Gifted” will take place on Friday, December 7th from 6-9pm. All work will be for sale and admission is free. Put a dent in your holiday shopping list and enjoy live music, refreshments, drinks, and more! Following the Opening, the exhibit will be open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 12-5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Give yourself the biggest gift this year and simplify your holiday shopping right here in Noblesville!

Give yourself the biggest gift this year and simplify your holiday shopping, right here in Noblesville! “Gifted,” our annual holiday exhibit-turned-gift-market, is back for its fifth year with a wide selection of unique, handmade items that are sure to please everyone on your “nice” list. Join us on November 24th from 10am – 5pm for a special Small Business Saturday event and be one of the first to choose from locally-made pottery, woodenware, jewelry, hand-knit accessories, home decor, holiday cards, and more! Early shoppers will get a FREE shopping tote while supplies last. Don’t miss it!

Santa’s Workshops: Dec 1, 8, 15, 22

Nickel Plate Arts campus: 107 S. 8th St., Noblesville

$10/participant and includes all supplies and guided instruction.

Handmade gifts are always the best! Our local artists/elves will help your children put their artsy brains and hands to work creating art projects that would make great holiday gifts. Cookies, milk, hot chocolate, and other holiday goodies provided!

Dec 1:  Self Portraits and Decorated matLearn about face shapes, positioning of facial features and make a self-portrait. After your portrait is completed, we will mount on tag board for easy framing at home.
Dec 8: Art Journals – Create and decorate a journal for a gift or personal use. Learn how to use items and supplies you have around the house to make a journal or a junk journal.
Dec 15: Greeting Cards & Gift Bags – Create a unique “I Spy”or Shaker Card greeting card and a gift bag to use for that special someone.
Dec 22: Mixed Media Art – Create a work of Mixed Media Art using “throwaways” and found items.

Nourish your appetite for local culture during First Friday at Nickel Plate Arts! These once-a-month events are packed with essential arts nutrients and stuff to make you happy inside and out.  Enjoy refreshments, live music, great art, and a cash bar featuring beer and wine from local producers.

Get into the holiday spirit during our December First Friday! Shop from dozens of local artists and makers for one-of-a-kind gifts in our annual gallery-turned-gift-shop, “Gifted.” Festive live music will be provided by a local musician. In our Stephenson House gallery, explore an Artist Showcase featuring work by local painter Bobbi K. Samples. If you’re looking to have a great time while crossing fabulous gifts off your shopping list, Nickel Plate Arts’ December First Friday should be on your calendar!

Night-Owl Holiday Shopping Hours

Nickel Plate Arts’ “Gifted” market is open Wednesday-Friday from Noon to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with extended hours on the following dates:

Our gallery will stay open until 8:00 p.m. to accommodate all you Night Owls who like to shop late! Get the perfect gift for those hard-to-shop-for people on your list, while also enjoying the local arts scene. Make it a date night by going out to dinner in Downtown Noblesville. Local artists and musicians are invited to be on-hand to celebrate the holiday season in hip-storic Noblesville style!

Friday, December 14: Rock the night away with musicians Michael Stewart and John Gilmore.

Saturday, December 15: Jazz up your holiday season with musician Gavin Cooley.

Friday, December 21: Ho ho ho – who wood-n’t go? Chris Hayes of “Ask Cheese Woodworks” will show off his talents!

Saturday, December 22: Mix it up with Love’s Hangover Creations – they’ll help you create your own mixed-media masterpiece.
