HCAA is sponsoring monthly exhibits of selected member’s work to be on display at the Noblesville Visitors Center. Brad Fields is the featured artist for March.
Brad Fields was born and raised in Munice, IN, and moved to Indianapolis to attend Herron School of Art. “In high school I knew that I was going to be an artist, but I also knew that I didn’t want to be a starving artist.” After receiving a degree in Visual Communications, he spent the next 28 years working in the print graphics and signage industry.
Brad, his wife and son moved to Fishers in 2003. He wanted to be involved and give back to his community and was appointed to create the Fishers Arts Council along with 11 other community volunteers. “I learned so much by working with the town and with various arts and cultural organizations in Hamilton County.”
Painting and drawing have always been one of Brad’s passions. “I have come to the point in life that I felt the time is right for me to make my art, find my artistic voice and to invest that time it takes to succeed.”
