Each month, Nickel Plate Arts presents a showcase of artwork by a local artist or art group inside our Stephenson House Gallery. For the month of September, we are excited to have a group show in which five midwestern artists display artwork that touches on the idea of "Home".
Kelly Barton, Jill Broadhacker, Lindsay Clark, Jenny Elkins, and Lori McDonough met each other largely through social media and art fairs, and their backgrounds in art brought them together. While they each bring a different style and aesthetic to the table, their shared love of typography often ties their artwork together. "Home" will showcase printmaking, mixed media, typography, digital illustration, letterpress, collage, hand lettering, and more. Mark your calendars to attend their opening reception on Saturday, September 9th from 6-9pm in our Stephenson House Gallery space in downtown Noblesville. Outside of the reception, "Home" will be on display from September 1st - 30th, Wednesdays - Fridays from 12 noon - 5pm and Saturdays from 10am - 5pm. Admission is always free and most works will be for sale.
