Nickel Plate Arts Director Ailithir O. McGill shares her love of illustration this month by exhibiting the original drawings from her forthcoming children's book called The Owl and the Pussycat Went to Sea."

The book is based on the poem by English writer Edward Lear in 1870 and features McGill's original mixed-media illustrations.

Drop by Nickel Plate Arts during our regular gallery hours, or join us for one of our special events this month to enjoy this whimsical exhibit.  Events include:

First Friday, April 7th, 6-9 p.m.  - Enjoy our monthly celebration of all things artistic in downtown Noblesville, including live music, demonstrations, and one-on-one time with this month's showcase artist.

Fairy Friday, April 21st, 6-9 p.m. - Walk the whimsical, magical, one-of-a-kind fairy trail and vote for your favorite, then make your own magical artwork with Ailithir McGill!

Kickstarter Party, Tuesday, April 25th, 7-9 p.m. - Ailithir will host a party full of games, music, food and special Kickstarter incentives to mark the final days of this unique project!
