Cool nights and warm days are arriving, which gets the sap aflowing. The staff will be demonstrating making maple syrup, and continue the Bray Family tradition on the property, which began more than 150 years ago. Traditional and modern equipment will be used to make syrup as well as information regarding the folklore, history, and science about maple trees. During the tour, visitors will leisurely rotate through the Maple Grove, History Hut, Sugar Shack, and Sugar Shop, which takes about an hour.
Dragonwood Maple Syrup will be on-site with their locally-produced maple products. Other
vendors will also be present with fun treats. Enter the park from Hinkle Road parking lot.
Groups will be picked up by our wagons and transported to the first station. Dress for the
weather and potentially muddy conditions. Wagon picks up approximately every twenty minutes.
