Nickel Plate Arts Exhibit: In Perspective

January 4-26; Wed.-Fri., 12-5 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Nickel Plate Arts campus

Abstract art offers artists the freedom to creatively explore the world around us. With no rules, no boundaries, and no inherent meaning, many artists in this genre have a strong sense of composition, well-honed drawing skills, and a deep understanding of the relationships between shape, color, and texture. Our first exhibit of 2019, “In Perspective” will feature works from abstract artists in the Nickel Plate Arts network. Visitors will explore their own perceptions of reality through forms like surrealism, cubism, minimalism, and more in this thought-provoking exhibit. A First Friday reception for “In Perspective” will take place on Friday, January 4thfrom 6-9pm with many works for sale. After the reception, “In Perspective” will be open to the public during our normal gallery hours: Wednesday – Friday from noon – 5pm and Saturday from 10am – 5pm.

Submission deadline for “In Perspective” is Friday, December 21st.
