In Course 2 - Flowers and Cake Design - you will work with royal icing, the ideal medium to use when creating flowers and decorations in advance. You will develop core skills to make many varieties of flowers, such as pansies, lilies and The Wilton Rose. Whether you are new to decorating, have been decorating for years or even just refreshing from a previous Wilton Method Course, when you have completed Course 2, you will be proud of the new techniques you've learned and ready to showcase them on your next project.

Learn to:

Create 8 different types of flowers and understand how to feature them on your next project

Learn to pipe royal icing appliques Pipe borders onto your cake

Design a color palette and pattern for your cake Learn basket weave

And many more exciting techniques !

And don’t forget these items from home …

24 in. x 24 in. (60 cm x 60 cm) table cover (such as a folded bath towel or plastic tablecloth)

Scissors, Pen or Pencil and Paper, Toothpicks, Tape

Box or cupcake carrier for transportation

Small bottle of water (squeeze bottle)

Disposable cloth or paper towels

3 – Disposable cups or bowls (to mix and tint icing)

Box for flower transportation

1 recipe butter cream icing
